Any Scabbing or Downtime After AviClear?
Just mild redness—no scabs, no wounds, and no downtime at all. I could even go out in the sun normally after.

Does AviClear Cause Purging?
The doctor informed me that purging (breakouts) can occur in 14–40% of patients.
In my case:
No purging after the first session
Breakouts occurred after the second and third sessions, with larger-than-usual pimples
Thankfully, it improved once my doctor prescribed a short course of antibiotics and a topical treatment.
Did AviClear Reduce Oil Production?
Yes, for the first 2–3 days, I definitely noticed less oiliness, but not to the point of dryness or flaking.
Eventually, my skin returned to its usual condition, though it did feel slightly less oily overall, especially after all three sessions were completed. Oil control and pore refinement became more noticeable after 3–4 months.
