BELOTERO® Revive
Belotero Revive is the newest product to the BELOTERO® portfolio of fillers indicated for revitalisation of early-onset photodamaged facial skin.1
The injectable, resorbable hyaluronic acid treats the early signs of photodamage by rehydrating the skin, improving elasticity and firmness, and smoothing superficial fine lines by reducing skin roughness.
THE TECHNOLOGY THAT REVIVES SKIN
BELOTERO Revive utilises BELOTERO®’s patented Cohesive Polydensified Matrix® technology, allowing for homogeneous dermal integration, and includes the addition of 17.5mg/ml of glycerol.
HYALURONIC ACID
Hydration is a key feature of a healthy skin and has been widely proven to rejuvenate the skin when injected. Hyaluronic acid, contributes to the filler‘s quality while giving the skin a more radiant, youthful appearance.2 Hyaluronic acid is important for cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation and migration of fibroblasts and which causes an increased biosynthesis of collagen and other components of the extracellular matrix (ECM).3
GLYCEROL
Both found endogenously in the body, Hyaluronic acid in combination with Glycerol, one of the most hydrating substances in the polyalcohol family, it creates a lasting moisturising effect on the skin, as it promotes water absorption from the dermis to the stratum corneum – providing moisture from the inside out.4, 5 Studies have also shown glycerol to enhance the potency of hyaluronic acid by strengthening the hyaluronic acid matrix.6
Combining these two ingredients provides BELOTERO® Revive with 37.5mg/ml of hydrophilic molecules.
Belotero Revive: Skin Quality Treatment, Not a Volumizing Filler
Belotero Revive combines cross-linked hyaluronic acid with glycerol and is selected to support hydration, skin texture, elasticity and the appearance of superficial fine lines. The treatment goal is gradual improvement in skin quality rather than creating substantial facial volume or changing facial contours.
Who May Consider Belotero Revive?
- Skin that feels dry, rough or less elastic
- Early signs of sun-related skin change and superficial fine lines
- Patients seeking subtle improvement in skin quality rather than significant volume correction
Suitability, treatment areas and product availability depend on local labeling and an individual medical assessment.
Belotero Revive vs Other Skinboosters
Belotero Revive contains hyaluronic acid together with glycerol. Other injectable skin-quality products may use different HA concentrations, cross-linking technologies or treatment protocols. There is no single best product for everyone. The dermatologist selects the option according to skin thickness, treatment area, previous procedures and desired outcome. How Is the Treatment Plan Decided?
The number of syringes, injection points, session interval and maintenance plan are determined after consultation. Results develop gradually and vary according to skin condition, metabolism, lifestyle and treatment plan.
Possible Side Effects and When to Inform the Doctor
Temporary swelling, redness, bruising, tenderness, itching, firmness or small bumps may occur around injection sites. Tell the doctor about allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin infection or inflammation, previous reactions to injectable products, medical conditions, and medicines or supplements that may increase bruising.
Although uncommon, injectable HA treatments can cause serious complications. Seek prompt medical attention for severe or increasing pain, unusual blanching or skin discoloration, visual symptoms, marked swelling or a rapidly worsening reaction.

Belotero Revive FAQ
How is Belotero Revive different from a volumizing filler?
Belotero Revive is selected mainly to support hydration and overall skin quality. Volumizing fillers are generally used for more precise contour or volume correction. The correct choice depends on the treatment goal.
Which areas can be treated?
Treatment areas depend on approved local labeling, skin characteristics and medical assessment. The dermatologist confirms whether the product is appropriate for the requested area.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no single schedule for everyone. The number of sessions and maintenance timing depend on skin condition, treatment area, response and the doctor’s plan.
When will I see results and how long do they last?
Improvement in hydration and skin quality develops gradually. Timing and duration vary between individuals, and maintenance may be recommended.
Is there downtime?
Many patients return to usual activities soon after treatment, but temporary redness, swelling, bruising or small injection marks can occur. Recovery varies.
