Morpheus8 Aftercare (Post-Treatment Care)
After Morpheus8, it’s common to experience mild pink or red skin at first, which usually fades within about 1 hour. Some people may notice small scabs or a slightly “rough” texture, similar to skin exfoliation — this is a normal part of the skin’s healing process.
Afterward, avoid anything that may cause irritation and follow your doctor’s instructions closely for about 7 days, including avoiding heat and sun exposure for at least 4 weeks. If you’d like to repeat Morpheus8 on the same area, you can do so after 3 months or once your skin has fully recovered.
💙 Key Points After Your Morpheus8 Treatment
After Morpheus8, you may notice redness, small needle marks, or mild swelling, which is usually temporary and improves within 2–7 days. Proper skincare helps your skin recover well and reduces the chance of irritation.
- ✔️ Cleanse with a gentle product and avoid scrubbing or exfoliating for about 1 week
- ✔️ Apply a hydrating moisturizer and SPF 30–50+ sunscreen every day
- ✔️ Avoid intense exercise, sauna, steam rooms, and excessive heat for the first 48 hours
- ✔️ Avoid products containing fruit acids (AHA/BHA), retinol, or other exfoliating ingredients until your skin has recovered
- ✔️ If you experience severe pain, significant swelling, blistering, or any unusual symptoms, contact the clinic promptly for medical advice
Collagen production after Morpheus8 continues gradually over several weeks to months. Results vary from person to person.

Frequently Asked Questions About Morpheus8 Aftercare
1. Is It Normal to Have Redness, Swelling, or Tiny Scabs After Morpheus8?
You may notice redness, swelling, a warm or tight sensation, or tiny scabs on the treated area afterward. Symptoms and recovery time vary depending on the treatment area, energy level used, and individual skin condition. Avoid picking, scratching, or peeling off scabs, and follow your doctor’s instructions.
2. When Can I Wash My Face or Wear Makeup After Morpheus8?
Avoid getting the treated area wet and avoid applying creams or cosmetics for the first 24 hours. After that, you may begin gentle cleansing as advised by your doctor. Wait to apply makeup until the skin has fully closed, with no open wounds, oozing, or visible irritation. If unsure, check with the clinic first.
3. What Skincare Products Should I Use — and Avoid — After Treatment?
Use Healing Ointment and gentle products as recommended by your doctor. Avoid scrubs, exfoliation, retinoids, and exfoliating acids such as AHA/BHA, along with any products that cause stinging or irritation, until your skin has recovered or your doctor gives the go-ahead.
4. Can I Exercise, Go in the Sun, or Use a Sauna After Morpheus8?
Avoid intense sun exposure, heat, saunas, steam rooms, and activities that cause excessive sweating while your skin is still red, hot, or irritated. Once you can resume using skincare products, use a gentle sunscreen along with a hat or umbrella, and follow the timeline recommended by your treating physician.
5. What Symptoms Should Prompt Me to Contact the Clinic or See a Doctor?
Contact the clinic if you experience pain, swelling, or redness that worsens instead of improving, blistering, open wounds, oozing, pus, fever, an unusual rash, or suspected infection. If symptoms are severe or develop quickly, seek medical evaluation promptly.
