The soft-tissue fillers (injectable HA) can help fill in the lines and creases our faces collect over as we grow older, and temporarily restores a smoother, more youthful-looking appearance. When injected beneath the skin, these fillers plump up creased and sunken areas of the face. They can also add fullness to the lips cheeks and also hands.

Preparing for filler  Treatment

There are a few precautions to take before your filler treatment.
  • It is a good idea to meet with a physician to find out if you are a good candidate for filler injections.
  • You should stop taking aspirin and Vitamin E supplements before receiving filler, as these can increase bruising or bleeding at the injection site and will also lengthen your healing time.
  •  Your doctor will advise you if any other medications you are taking could interfere with your treatment, and these medications should be avoided as well. If you have any other health concerns, make sure to share these with your doctor, as well.

The HA is injected using a fine needle inserted at several points along the edge of the treatment site.
