What is Metronidazole (Robaz®) Gel?

Metronidazole (Robaz®) Gel 0.75% is a topical medication containing Metronidazole, an antibiotic that helps inhibit the growth of certain bacteria and reduce skin inflammation.

It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of:

• Inflammatory acne
• Pustular acne
• Papules associated with acne
• Rosacea (facial redness caused by dilated blood vessels)
• Certain inflammatory skin conditions, as recommended by a dermatologist

4. The medication does not need to be rinsed off after application.
5. Wash your hands after applying the medication.

Possible Side Effects

Most patients tolerate Metronidazole Gel well. However, some may experience mild skin irritation during the first few days of treatment, including:

• Mild burning or stinging sensation
• Dry skin
• Tightness of the skin

Precautions

Before using Metronidazole Gel, please note the following precautions:
